History
Ramin Mesgarlou founded Global Wealth Trade Corporation (GWT Corp) and sold it first distributorship in April 2005 from his home office in Ontario, Canada. From these modest beginnings, the small jewelry company kept growing and gaining strength through an evolving product line and a parade of innovational triumphs unprecedented in the history of fine jewelry. Due to its rapid growth, the company had to expand its head office five times between 2005 and 2010, finally relocating its world headquarters from Ottawa to Toronto in 2008.

Product Evolution
Although its associated manufacturing heritage dates back to the 1880’s, GWT Corp started with a modest product line of custom-made jewelry of 10 K, 14 K and 18 K gold and platinum. In March 2008 the company utilized its strong creative design talents and moved forward to the next step of their business plan by becoming a luxury jewellery and goods designer company.

The company acquired a 40-year-old lab in Toronto and started an extensive R & D campaign with as target to create a brand new, high-carat gold composition that maintains its strength to accommodate diamonds and precious stones. This feat has never been accomplished before in the 3000-year history of jewelry making.
